Hull Construction

Hull is stripped 1 inch Juniper planking of various lenghts and widths fastened to 1 1/2 X 4 inch fir side frames and 1 1/2 X10 inch bottom frames which has been fiberglassed and covered with Awlgrip paint. Hull is supported by 3 full height Transverse bulkheads of marine plywood fastened to the hull.
The keel is a full design from the bow to the stern with a worm shoe on the bottom. The keel is 2 inches thick and extends below the hull approximately 25 inches at her stern.
The stem is a solid 5 1/2 by 5 1/2 inch heart pine.
The foredeck is of marine plywood covered with resin-saturated fiberglass and covered with Awlgrip paind as is the rest of her super structure.
