Description

"Happy Destiny" is a one owner boat that has never been chartered and is well equipped for cruising. Her design and equipment allow for comfortable and safe coastal or blue water passage-making with a flexible sail system that will handle a wide range of weather conditions. The Daniel Andrieu design was one of Sail magazine's top 10 new designs in 2001 and was carried through in this 2004 but with improvements such as the larger 75hp Yanmar replacing the 56hp that was standard on earlier models. The design provides great interior space with an abundance of natural light while retaining sleek and graceful sailboat lines.

Kept just outside of Baltimore on the Middle River, "Happy Destiny" is easy to see and convenient to Interstate 95 as well as Baltimore Washington International and Martin State Airports.

Layout Overview:

The 43DS has been one of the most popular models for Jeanneau and with very good reason. This yacht features an open, bright interior with exceptional views out whether standing or sitting. An oversized owners cabin features a walk around berth while still retaining a large dry aft cockpit with exceptional visibility forward (rather then a center cockpit design). "Happy Destiny" features the "owners arrangement" where the master and guest cabins are both large and private and each enjoys their own head, the master's with a stall shower. The master stateroom includes a king sized berth and storage lockers on both sides as well. Rich teak finish is found throughout on the bulkheads, cabinetry, counter top moldings, salon table and navigation station. The salon is large for this size yacht with a large teak table which is surrounded by a U-shaped dinette to starboard with cabinets above. Opposite the dinette is the nav station flanked by two built in chairs and room for flush mounting electronics including this boats ICOM Single Side Band Transceiver. The L-shaped galley is well appointed with a huge two compartment refrigerator with top and front openings, forward facing double stainless steel sinks with pressure hot and cold water, dish draining compartment, propane 2 burner stove plus oven as well as a full set of Jeanneau dishes.
