The in-progress Jarrett Bay Boatworks 43 Express hull is designed for the individual who knows exactly what they want in a sportfisherman. The 43 is built on Jarrett Bay’s traditional custom Carolina design. This modern vessel combines the classic Carolina styling of aft tumblehome sections and impressive bow flare at the same time utilizing the latest design developments to give you a more efficient hull and the best performance in the sportfish marketplace.
Jarrett Bay uses cold-molding to reduce the overall weight, while still producing a stronger, more fuel efficient vessel. This vessel is designed to accommodate Caterpillar Zeus C-9 Pods at 575 hp, allowing space inside for additional owners cabin/stores.
With nearly 60 custom builds to date, Jarrett Bay designs their hulls, first and foremost, with performance in mind. Their proven modified-vee hull design uses steadfastly seaworthy, lightweight materials allowing the vessel to be faster than other similarly sized boats with equal or more horsepower, and significantly superior fuel economy than custom and production boats in her class. The vessel carries a 14-foot beam, and a 4'4" draft with Caterpillar Zeus Pods.
Jarrett Bay’s noteworthy attention to detail in the engine room equals that of their finish work in places no one may ever see. All surfaces are faired and smooth-finished by hand, and then painted with high gloss, white ALEXSEAL to ensure a clean, glossy appearance and easy clean-up. You’ll find wire harnesses, plumbing and piping all hidden behind access panels or cabinetry, as their engineers believe that the engine room should remain orderly for ease of maintenance. In an age of very complex systems and hull designs, Jarrett Bay is recognized by the world’s foremost sportfish aficionados as a master of keeping things simple, manageable and reliable.
The Jarrett Bay 43 is at a very pivotal point in construction six-months into its 1 ½ year build process–and can be finished as originally designed, or modified to fit your individual fishing and design styles. Call now to discuss making this complete package of performance, luxury, convenience and quality uniquely yours. Finished photos of the sisters ship and current state of production are included.
