Dear Mr. Miltz,
In March of 2007 I purchased a 268 Albemarle Express which I have really enjoyed.
Recently I have experienced some mechanical problems dealing with the engine & the outdrive. Although, my problems are not totally resolved I am continually working with a member of your staff, Mr. Wayne Henry who is helping me get these items corrected. This letter is to commend Jarrett Bay Yacht Sales on the service I received from Mr. Henry. Every issue with the boat has been or is being addressed with prompt and courteous service. Jarrett Bay Yacht Sales should be proud to have Mr. Henry as their employee.
I hope one day to move up to the 320- Express & I will be sure to contact Jarrett Bay Yacht Sales. Again thank you for your sincere and professional service.
Sincerely,
Jimmie E. CarsonMark,
I wanted to tell you how great it has been to settle down in the new boat... my "Green Eyed Lady". Quite frankly, you are the reason that it became a reality. Your willingness to go the extra mile in the midst of your busy boat show season to pursue my boat in New England with winter fast approaching was amazing... and to top it off you had to deal with a very cantankerous and reluctant seller. You gave me the confidence to continue to pursue this deal as I knew your primary focus was always for my best interest and not just to make a sale. Just as impressive has been your follow-up and help with any request after the closing. Your professionalism is to be applauded. I would recommend you to any of my friends looking to purchase a boat. It was a delight to work with you... not to mention get to know a new friend. I look forward to seeing you down at the docks when I am in town.
Thanks Again,
David WorstineDear Mr. Ramsey,
I am the former President and owner of the OTA University in Berlin, Germany, and an active "Mariner" for over 40 years. In all these years, I have purchased and sold many yachts, and I have therefor met my share of boat brokers.
Four weeks ago, I purchased a Hatteras 60 through Chuck Meyers at Jarret Bay in Baltimore. First of all, I would like to congratulate you to have found such an employee as Chuck. He has been more than helpful to us. Most brokers we have known are friendly and helpful up until the day the Boat is sold. The service, and level of attention we have received from Chuck is unbelievable.
After I bought the boat, I needed to undergo surgery back in Germany, and therefore I couldn't move the boat from Baltimore. During this time, I have really learned what great service is. Chuck had taken care of the yacht for me while I was in Germany, without me even having to ask. When the weather was bad, he went to check if the dock-lines would hold, and when we needed something done on the boat, Chuck was the one who organized everything. All around, we are stunned by the way Chuck has helped us, especially after the sale. This is something we have never experienced before and are very grateful for.
Furthermore, I would like to give my compliments for Miss Kelly Jaeger, who has also helped us in every situation. She was available to us ever since we set foot in their door. Always friendly and a nice smile.
After all these great experiences, Jarret Bay will always be remembered with me.
Sincerely Yours,
Erman TanyildizHi Joe,
It truly was my pleasure working with professionals like yourself and Todd. You provided everything to get me started, including the factory tour, the training session for Anita and myself and the nice extras in the Jarrett Bay bag. We have already had the Kelly Marie out in 4-6 ft. seas with no problems. I am still working to regulate gas from left tank to right tank but am following the directions given. Several people, including John Dudley, the marina owner, have said what a beautiful boat she is. They even put her on the front row next to Highway 24 to show off their tenant boats!! Please let your management know what a happy buying experience we have had with you!!
To whom this may concern,
I have been boating now for almost fifteen years (mostly West Coast) and have worked exclusively with boat manufacturers for the purchase of all of my boats. This was my first experience with a brokerage, and I was skeptical at first. I recently bought a Luhrs 360 open from a gentleman, and I worked with Mr. Mark Conners on this deal. In fact, I had been working with Mr. Conners for quite a while looking at several boats before making a final decision. I must have "drove him nuts" with all my questions and phone calls, not to mention time looking at boats. I know this is his job but he went above and beyond the call of duty, in my humble opinion. He always had time for me no matter what he was doing. I have never had such a great and low-key experience in my life. Each time I had a question about something, Mark was there with an answer and made me feel like I was just as important as a customer buying a multi-million dollar yacht. I always felt like he was honest with me and always "told me like it is." And as a result, I feel that my new found boat is a winner and will serve me well at least for a few years. I truly had a great Jarrett Bay experience, and will not hesitate to work with Mark and Jarrett Bay in the future for my next boat… And it's only a matter of time before I "outgrow" this one. Thanks to Jarrett Bay for a "JOB WELL-DONE." It's nice to know there are people in this business one can still count on.
Very Respectfully and Sincerely,
A very satisfied customer!
Dear Ben,
Just a note to say thanks for all of your tireless efforts over the last 12-15 months in finally selling me a new boat. We will have many enjoyable days aboard our new 50' Hatteras Convertible. I have met many yacht brokers and salespeople over the years. Your commitment to customer satisfaction and trustworthiness is not found in many.
I have owned boats for over 35 years. This is my first Hatteras but will certainly not be my last. With your help, I will always be eager to own more additions from the Hatteras Yachts line-up in the future.
Thanks for your patience and help with this purchase. Best wishes for contined success. With warmest personal regards, I remain,
Sincerely,
Brian L. PechelesClark,
I look forward to thanking you in person for your very able help throughout this (boat sale) exercise. It was always a pleasure to work with you, and if anybody ever wants to talk to someone who has worked with you, I'll be very pleased to tell them how good the experience was.
Best regards,
George WebbDear Randy,
Congratulations on receiving three prestigious awards at the Hatteras Yachts 2005 Dealership Awards ceremony last month. It is quite an accomplishment to walk away with the Customer Service Award indicating highest scores from your customers, the Dealer Performance Award, and the Gold Sales Achievement Award.
Best wishes for continued success.
Regards,
David A. LeikI just read about your Hatteras award and would like to congratulate your company for getting this honor. I knew as I was working with your company to get my new Hatteras, you were much different than most other dealers and how you do business. It is certainly the way I like, rather than with the "sharks" who are notorious in your industry.
Once again, keep it up. You are helping change the industry.
Mr. Mooney,
I've had the very pleasant experience of working with one of your brokers in the Baltimore office, Chuck Meyers. I've been working with Chuck since January looking at several boats. I purchased and took delivery of a 2001 Cruisers 3870 this past Saturday, April 9. I've owned several boats over the past 25 years and need to tell you that the purchase of the Cruisers 3870 has been an extremely pleasant experience due, in large part, to Chuck. An extremely knowledgeable and pleasant man to work with. In my opinion, he went above and beyond working with me. Rest assured. I will be recommending Chuck and Jarrett Bay to my boater friends.
Regards,
Jon Morrow
